# adMare BioInnovations

**adMare BioInnovations** is a Canadian drug development company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is headquartered at the University of British Columbia, with an additional research centre in Montreal, Quebec.

## History

adMare was formed out of a coalition between Vancouver's Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD), Accel-Rx and Montreal's NEOMED Institute.[\[1\]](#fn1)

adMare purchased advertising time from the [Canadian Broadcasting Corporation](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Canadian-Broadcasting-Corporation) (CBC) sometime during 2020-2022.[\[2\]](#fn2)

## Organization

adMare is a member organization of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO).[\[3\]](#fn3) It is also a sponsor for Life Sciences British Columbia, a non-governmental organization representing the interests of pharmaceutical companies at various levels of government.[\[4\]](#fn4)

adMare has provided funding to the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (MCRI).[\[5\]](#fn5)

adMare operates the adMare Academy including the [Pfizer](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Pfizer)\-sponsored Executive Institute, a training program for executive-level life science professionals.[\[6\]](#fn6)[\[7\]](#fn7)
