# ACTIV-6

**ACTIV-6**, officially **ACTIV-6: COVID-19 Outpatient Randomized Trial to Evaluate Efficacy of Repurposed Medications**, is an American study of repurposed drugs to treat COVID-19\. The four drugs included in the study are ivermectin, fluvoxamine, fluticasone and montelukast.

It is part of the larger [Accelerating COVID-19 Therapeutic Interventions and Vaccines](https://www.whiteroseintelligence.com/Accelerating-COVID-19-Therapeutic-Interventions-and-Vaccines) (ACTIV) initiative.

The study officially began on June 8, 2021, and was scheduled for completion in March 2024.[\[1\]](#fn1)
