# 77th Brigade

The **77th Brigade** is a military information operations unit of the British Army. It sits within the Army's 6th (United Kingdom) Division. It deploys "non-lethal engagement and legitimate non-military levers as a means to adapt behaviours of adversaries."[\[1\]](#fn1)

## COVID-19

During the declared COVID-19 pandemic, the 77th Brigade conducted surveillance and compiled intelligence on British citizens and officials who questioned the Government of the United Kingdom's public health response.[\[1:1\]](#fn1)
